IfItWasMyHome.com - Put Oil Disaster In Perspective

There is an interesting website out there that uses Google Maps and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration satellite tracking data to place the boundaries of the oil spill over any geographic location to help put things in perspective.

I entered my location - Orlando, Florida. Here is the map:


Say goodbye to Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Bay Hill, Orlando Magic - they would all be coated with oil...

    Kevin, your map may be a bit too small. There may well come a time when BP will have to answer why their oil is coming up the Thames River.
