Trump's Hypocritical New Website

During President Trump's term in office, he had constantly whined about social media (or media in general) being unfair to him And had demanded on numerous occasions that companies like Facebook be held responsible for the content posted on their platforms.

Oddly enough, when those companies did that very thing and started banning conservative conspiracy theorists and eventually the Trump himself, the president and his allies then cried that there was bias directed against Republicans, even when criticisms originated from conservative sources.

Fast forward a couple months from the end of his presidency and attempted coup and Donald Trump has decided to create his own website in an attempt to build his own social media platform. So imagine the surprise when reading Trump's Terms of Service where the website states they are not responsible for the contents posted by others on their platform.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless OFP, its independent contractors, service providers and consultants, and their respective directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to any User Content you post.

It is as if the former president doesn't want to be held responsible for the content his followers post or do.
