Glenn Beck Claims Responsibility For Jon Stewart's Ratings

Media Matters posted this clip from the May 5 broadcast of Premiere Radio Networks' The Glenn Beck Program, in which Glenn Beck claims that comedy shows like NBC's Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart want him to remain on the air because he is good for ratings:

Apparently somebody has a big ego. Jon Stewart's program has been generally averaging around 1.45 to 1.6 million viewers nightly. I doubt Beck makes that big of an impact on Stewart's program. Sure there is the occasional mention or skit regarding Beck, but not every day...

Makes you question why Beck thinks he is good for comedy? Could it be because he knows he's a sham?
